Many people might not know that Henry Ford himself was a big country music fan. That’s according to Yisel Cabrera, community relations manager of the Ford Motor Company Fund. Cabrera said that the pioneering founder was also a “believer in making the world a better place.”
It’s over a hundred years later and the Ford Motor Company Fund is teaming up with country crooner Drake White to make the world a better place specifically through the power of country music.
White is a responsible for such hits as “It Feels Good” and “Livin’ The Dream.” It’s the hope of the Ford Motor Company Fund and Derek White that his artistic prowess will help to draw people out for various good causes across the country.
On June 4th in Los Angeles, Drake White will be performing to benefit the American Red Cross. On July 2nd, he’ll be in Detroit helping bring in funds for Habitat For Humanity. Drake will also be putting on shows in Dallas and Boston.
